A former member of Golf Digest’s 100 Greatest Public list, King’s North is one of three courses at Myrtle Beach National and showcases Arnold Palmer’s flair for memorable design. Home to some of the area’s most iconic holes, the par-5 sixth—nicknamed “The Gambler”—tempts players with a risk-reward island fairway that can shorten the hole dramatically. The par-3 12th also features an island green, offering a larger target than its TPC Sawgrass inspiration, but no less drama thanks to its bulkheaded surround.
