The Founders Club at Pawleys Island opened in 2008, built atop the original Sea Gull Golf Course, which dates back to the mid-1960s. The course stands out for its use of sandy waste areas in place of traditional rough, lending it an older, more timeless feel. The layout offers a nice variety, featuring tree-lined doglegs that move in various directions, complemented by some subtle elevation changes that add to the challenge and beauty of the course.
